It's not easy, man!

Losing someone you love is really hard especially when he/she is a member of the family.

My blockmate recently lost his dad and we all know its very painful so in form of sympathy, we went to the wake and the funeral, which took place just today. We've known our classmate as an introvert type of person especially when he doesn't seem to be very close to the people he's talking to but seeing him with his three younger brothers, namely Jeon, Ivan, Ian, and their cousin Ate Mavie is so inspiring. They were so affectionate that they weren't shy to show their feelings for each other. They would hug and even kiss each other's cheeks as a sign of their brotherly love. At the time when I was there at Funeraria Paz at Araneta Ave. with some of my blockmates, it made me realise something--to say 'I love You' to my dad. He first told us what is the cause of death of his father then I broke into tears but not so much--I think I absorbed some of his emotions, then, my father ran into my thought. I remembered the time when I said bad words to him straightforwardly because of some personal problems. (I know it's also a bit shocking to me but at least I've released that feeling of anger.) It's sort of a pride to actually get the chance to tell to your father that you love him but it's not easy, man. But my classmate asked me to do a favor for him, which is to tell my father that I love him. It took me a time before doing it. It's not just those three big-lettered words, it's on how sincere you are. After that, I finally told my father but it was only in text message.

One of my friends have lost his grandfather and, also, two of them have lost their dad this January. My point here is for us to tell/express them how much we love them. After all, it might be too late. Regrets can last a lifetime.
