Epidemic

Oh, it's been more than a week that I had a cough and there has been an epidemic since in our home, classroom, pe.

I think, I am the one who passed the virus to my seatmate, then next to that, others have cough and colds the next few days. Am I the culprit? Nah. it's really due to the untimely changing of the weather. The fast shifting from hot sunny day to a rainy afternoon- that brought the epidemic- the abnormality of the weather.

Hopefully, we'll experience the coldness that the Christmas season is to bring- for there's already a countdown for anticipation of the birth of Jesus Christ in other local channels.

Debbie, Mark, Jeffy, and I, still, have not yet taken the CompLab prelim exam which we are supposed to take last week. I think it was postponed for three times already. Nice. We don't actually feel like taking it anymore just for the sake of the completion of requirements!

And now, I'm looking at the calendar, I want the days to pass a little bit faster so we'll have sembreak. The reason:to rest, of course, read some books I've borrowed and bought, meet my long-time unseen friends (lol)--I really miss them, and watch another series, dvd marathon! woohoo! I just came across studio23 hours before this post, and have watched the 'Every Moment Counts' episode to which Jeffrey Dean Morgan hosted the highlighted moments of each of the characters on those three seasons. I can't wait for some break to watch another series continuously as if there's no class for tomorrow. I don't want to cut class because of staying up all night watching dvds, although I love it, just like what happened when I finished Desperate Housewives. Whew! Besides, I think I can still control myself from seeing the full series since I've lend it to my classmate. ;)

One down, a lot more to go! The Mr. and Ms. Pre-Com Personality was finally over, held last August 25, 2007, and the Dept. Head congratulated those who have worked hard for a job well done. ;) For pictures, just check 'zz multiply' link. Btw, our classmate was one of the top 8 finalists and our former classmate, Janbee, have won the Mr. Pre-Com 2007 title. Cheers!

Another event tomorrow! back to back! whew! Good luck to the Pre-Com Soc, for the biggest event, the General Assembly (GA), as they say, is to be held tomorrow, on 1-5pm.

Shoot! We still have prelim exam tom, 12-1 for the stressing CompLec professor and another exam for the CompLab, which Mark, Jepi, Debbie and I have missed last saturday because of the event. Good Luck to that also. AngHell week!

Prelims, again?

Lol. After the long weekend which is tantamount to 6 days, I think, then comes the 2nd week of preliminary exams. Good Luck!

It's almost a week of cancellation of classes due to the supertyphoon, Egay. But nothing productive happened to me except finishing the season 3 of Desperate Housewives series last thursday, around 8 in the morning. I can't resist the feeling of wanting to finish it right there and then, after watching the first two seasons for barely 7 days in two weeks. Last two weeks, I was late, not actually late, I cut class because I didn't make it on time. The reason, I slept at 4 in the morning watching all night season 2. Extreme addiction, is it? I don't think so. I just looooove the series-- good portrayal of a typical neigborhood where some secrets can't help but unravel, smart script where I can laugh my ass off especially when Zach Young made a song to Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) at season 3 which, up to now, when I think of it, I still laugh.

I think, the season will be soon showing at Star World. Watch it, guys.

First time

After weeks of a without-dial-tone-phone... hate it! No surfing the net, no phone calls, everything is weak without the phone. Everyone's supposed to have good service from their respective network, but what can I say, almost two weeks of having no phone line, dumb ass!

Anyway, it's done already, this is gibberish.

Waxing or threading? Any of the two will hurt but most say that threading will hurt more than wax. Just recently, I had my first time threading my moustache. I must admit that I'm a bit scared but Ate Lorna, the woman who did the threading made me feel relaxed. She tried waxing my hair on the upper lip but the hair wasn't removed for it was too thin, so no choice but to thread. It made me cry when we're in the middle of the process (as if it's a huge operation), lol. But Ate was funny and made me giggle a little. We chat while she's doing the threading and the feeling of hurt was diminishing. And finally, the result was a smooth feeling on the upper lip and having my brother not teasing me. ;)

Bad Day

Yesterday, the day of my pe(7am). I woke up almost 6am and the first word I said, I already forgot. I don't know if it's shoot/shit. I took a bath for barely 5mins and straight to getting dressed. Of course, that less than an hour trip won't do because wednesday is Baclaran day and if I leave the house at already past 6, rush hour already!

Oh yes, I am late, 30mins late! And to the very extent of my imagination- oh so unlucky to be the first batch to be called by Ma'am Atienza to take the practical test. I'll just make it good the next time and I'll sleep really early for me to also wake up early. (Yesterday, it only took me 3hrs of sleep that's why I didn't even hear the alarms.) There's only 3hrs or 4hrs(not so sure) left to get an FA grade, I won't maximize my absences and my being late.

Today, I felt resentful to myself because of some things I did before. I thought of the word 'karma' or is it just natural for it to happen? I don't know but I think it's my shallowness, my weakness, my inconsistency.

Useless effort

Our effort of buying tickets for the opening of the UAAP Season 70, in which our school to host, was useless. The ticket was more expensive than usual because of the so-called package those in-charge people have said. They have included a shirt with the ticket to which they have said that you will save a dime on it. Our money and effort for buying tickets were wasted. We were one of the hapless students who didn't get to watch the game at the Araneta due to hesitation to cut class for our BA/management(2-3pm) for there will be a test-first test. We don't want to sacrifice it because one of our company is the newly President-elect of the class(he'll get the blame when asked why is he absent), I just cut class in that subject last two weeks, plus it will be hard to make up for a missed exam.

One good thing, we still managed to watch the opening through the television at the lobby entrance-the Salinggawi Dance Troupe who showcased their talents with kids was cute. The concept was good. After the exam, Emman and I go straight to Araneta to see if we can still catch up the final minutes of the UP-DLSU game but it was just impossible because of heavy traffic in Cubao. I just meet up as planned with Carmel and Bebs then went to sharlene's debut. We should have just sold our tickets to Lyka or to someone else.
